Cuba
Partagas 8-9-8 Sin Barnizar
This cigar, discontinued in the year 2002, is probably the oldest among all Partagas, because old catalogues point out it existed before the Revolution. It is strong with rich flavour and aroma, and well balanced.
Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2
Together with the Seleccion No. 1, these are undeniablly the two best cigars from Juan Lopez. These cigars have propelled Juan Lopez from a 2nd class manufacturer into the league of great cigar makers. The “robusto size” smoker will really appreciate this cigar.
Romeo y Julieta Coronas Grandes
This already discontinued cigar is considered a “mild strength” Romeo y Julieta if we rate it under the brand premises. As it was discontinued in the early 90`s decade, it has become quite difficult to find one. The minimum ageing recommended for this smoke is at least 3 years.
Punch Royal Selection No. 12
This cigar is a great Mareva, which is a lot to say. It is smooth, sweet and creamy, full of taste, with subtle floral notes. Royal selection No. 12 is good for those moments when you can sit and relax, enjoying a good habano, otherwise, if you smoke it quickly, bitterness can emerge, so do not hurry up.
Cohiba Robustos
This Cohiba vitola has made Robustos one of the most desired Habanos in the market. This one is a real piece of jewellery. It shouldn’t be confused with a simple thick cigar, which is one of the problems when it comes to define Robustos. There are only nine authentic Robustos and this one is the most complex, because of its strength and excellent joint.
Juan Lopez Petit Coronas
This cigar is fairly similar to Montecristo No. 4. In terms of quality, it is not as good as Juan Lopez’s “Seleccion” range. Other than that, it is an acceptable cigar for those who love Mareva sized cigars.
